Hi, I am originally from the UK, but I have lived in Northern Italy for thirty years or more.

I will probably bore you all will pictures of Italian landscapes and my obsession with Italian Architecture. I have been taking pictures since about 1975.


PS How do I insert pictures from my computer?

Hi Nigel, welcome aboard.

To 'insert' pictures, there are basically 2 ways.

1, click the 'Attach Files' tab, bottom left, you'll then be able to upload from your computer. Click the file to upload, then you'll get a thumbnail of your image and a tab to 'insert' the file.
Click that then you can choose to display a thumbnail or full image. 'Full image' is best although the caveat with that is that it must be 500kb or smaller and no more than 1024px on the longest side.

2, You can link to an image hosting site, the majority here use Flickr. Upload your image to the hosting site, click on 'share' and then copy the 'BB Code' link, which must be no longer than 1024 px on the longest side. Paste the link into your thread.
