Hi
I have taken a photo of a flock of birds against a light blue sky and on enlarging the image can see that some of the birds are showing chromatic aberration. I have used Photoshop's chromatic aberration tool (under lens correction) to try and remove but it has only been partly successful. I can think of a time consuming manual way of getting rid it, but does anyone out there have any quick tips or recommendations for inexpensive software guaranteed to do the job?
Thanks in advance
Jean

Are you sure some of them aren't just purple crested warblers?

Yes, but its only round some of the birds (white gulls).

Find the HSL tool, select the saturation tab and reduce the blue channel.

Can be done in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw (part of Photoshop)

Purple fringing isn't quite the same as the other CA's which is why the normal CA correction tools don't have much effect. You'll usually see it in high contrast situations when the lens is wide open.
