Christmas no 1

Christ i wish people would stop knocking this guy
he is making tough decisions previous governments wouldn't
give the guy a few years

for info i voted for him and am very happy with every decision he has made

Not according to the BBC!

Express:- (not that I read the Express, just where the comment came from)

"A Christmas parody song hitting out at Labour's winter fuel payment cuts has topped the iTunes chart.

Freezing this Christmas by Sir Starmer and the Granny Harmers reached the number one spot today in the list of top songs.

The track, penned by Chris Middleton, is a parody of Mud's Lonely This Christmas."

I've seen a few references to this being the No.1 but what that means is seemingly questionable. I think I heard it was the No.1 download and it has well over a million views on Youtube. Googling tells me it was pipped to No.1 in the charts, whatever than means, by Wham but it does seem to be No.1 by other metrics or at least it's being reported by some to be No.1 is other ways...

One reason quoted for the BBC not playing it was reported as being because it's not an original but this just doesn't seem in any way right to me as how many cover versions and parodies have been played by the Beeb before? Many.

Good on Sir Starmer and the Granny Harmers for highlighting this issue and for embarrassing this awful government.

Not that old.
