I read a post on another forum by a guy who lives near him that his house got trashed by someone driving into it and he stopped doing the light show after that.:(
 
It is amazing what some men in the US will do to win a tiny trophy! They now sell four fake trees over here with a built in stereo to display outside that the lights move to music. It is cool but costs $500. I can't help but think they stole the idea.

Probably not tbh, but then saying that, it was so popular on the net before the lottery took the idea, that people probably groaned when they all realised that the lottery had stolen the idea. As a result, probably made the guy who did it in the first place more popular!

Yeah, I know, before anyone else says it - I'm a grumpy old woman with no Christmas spirit. I've just spent all day in the freezing cold, trekking round Southampton and I still haven't finished my shopping, or written my cards, or anything else which I can't even remember at the moment. I need a large glass of red, a cozy fire, perhaps some chestnuts roasting in it, snowflakes gently falling outside and the sound of carol singers in the distance. Mmmmm - rant over - I'm feeling better already :love::love::love:
