Do you design your own - and is it one style or multiple?

Last year I did my own (one style) but I'm struggling with ideas for this year....or at least funky and slightly original!! This year I think I'd like to do a couple of different styles though.

this was mine last year. not perfect, i hadnt been doing photography that long.

Its easy if youve got young kids, just dress them up, get them to pose and off you go!

Yeah, everyone loves photos of kids dressed up Christmassy, so that's alwaysgoing to be a winner for anyone with kids. ;) - Sweet pic BTW!

There's baubles, snow, wintery portraits, wintery landscapes and even interesting night landscapes, all of that kind of thing. Ahhh, worst case scenario is I'll dress the cats up....again!

Get them to stand still for a few seconds and pose? Lol that is not easy to do!

LOL, I must have some kind of charm with kids

You're right though, children move loads, but sometimes that's what get's you the lucky shot. I had the "pleasure" of shooting my 3 year old niece a while ago (just messing around) - had her sit roughly in the same place for all of 5 minutes max before she decided that it was time to do something else  . I honestly didn't think I'd got a single shot. Turns out that the shots of her were better than those of the older nieces.

Im lucky my son is only just started to crawl so I can distract him with the flash long enough to get a couple of decent shots. I fully expect this to get harder as he gets older though!
