Both great shots... lovely and sharp and wonderful lighting...Think I like the tones of #1 best..
 
great start Chris..... tis great lighting - like how you've left enough in it to separate the hair from the background - so many pics fail with that. Lovely skin tones too. :thumbs:

Just a pity there was no eye contact with the bloke. It's a good capture.......looks like he's quietly confident about something.
