Choosing a monitor for Photo editing

Hi All

I am after a new monitor for editing, the way forward is an IPS panel, does anybody have any recommendatiions on one that gives good colour accuracy, the Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA 22-Inch E-IPS Widescreen sounds like the one to go for, but if any of you out there knows better then please let me know, many thanks, Nathan

I am currently run Dell U2410's and they are calibrated with Huey Pro and what I see on screen is exact the same as my prints both at home and ordered.

Having 3 might be a bot OTT, hehe

I took delivery of my 2209WA on Saturday and so far I'm quite impressed. It seems to be a nice monitor. The only advice I can give is to budget for a calibration device as well. I tried managing without one but over the course of a days editing I had the brightness everywhere between 0 and 75% as I tried to guage what was right. In the end I decided that I didn't have calibrated eyes so ordered a Spyder today.
