Hi all. I am going to be staying at a caravan site near Chirk Castle next week (right next door to the castle in fact). Can anyone recommend any good landscape or other locations nearby, in case I manage to get out with the camera? Thanks in advance.

Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass/Waterfall in nearby LLangollen

Chirk Castle itself probably an obvious suggestion; I'd also look at the Pontcysyllte and Chirk Aquaducts. Check out James Popsys on Youtube; he lives in Wales and has done a video in that area recently.

The Ceiriog valley is a beautiful location; Glyn Ceiriog itself is very picturesque and feels like an alpine town at certain times of year.
