Chimping Exposed!

ROTFL.

I seem to recall Steve and myself doing a fair bit of chimping during the Chester Zoo Caper. I think he started it though! :laugh1:
 
I remember seeing those videos earlier this year. Don't remember where but it wasn't that site (I think).

I have already admitted being guilty as charged :smilenod: It is especially fun when the shot looks great on the lcd but when viewed at home are pants, then you have to make up some excuse for it :banghead: There must be some sort of chimp name for that :doh:
 
LOL.. I check my shots all the while - that's a huge advantage of digital - you'd be daft if you didn't chimp. What about checking the histogram - is that chimping? :Ponders:

I loved the "hi im Mark, im a recovering chimpaholic, i have gone 30 seconds without chimping" ;) rofl

And yeah im as guilty as the next man for chimping ! :)
 
Ahhh...had me worried there for a moment - so it's the "ooh, ooh, ooh" that's Chimping, not the reviewing of the images by itself? No...? Ah Well...
Coz, like I do this all the time - just to check the histogram that is...

I'll be watching myself now, of course...
 
I think chimping is neither the checking of the shot, nor the noise you make.

It's a mixture of both. Added to that the process of showing it off to everyone else around you, chimparing your shots with others, and asking what each other got.
