Childrens calendar

The sons PTA are doing a calendar to sell to raise funds. One of the teachers was going to take the pictures (probably using a p&s) so muggings has been nominated to do them instead. Background and a small amount of lighting are sorted but I'm just thinking that the shots might look a bit samey. The children have been asked to dress according to the month so I'm not sure how much variation on shorts and t shirt or no shorts and t shirt there may be. Any suggestions for jazzing it up? Chroma green and superimposing?

I wouldn't chromakey. Make the background and the framing and lighting of the shot a constant - that'll hang them together as a 'set'

I'd go for character, January bobble hat, April umbrella etc - there's enough to make 12 different shots.
(I'm dashing out to work, but half an hour thinking that through...)

Thanks for the reply Phil it's been scrapped after talking to the teacher as it's going to take around 2 days to get all the pictures involving all the children and they are borrowing a 'proper camera' so not needed.
