Hi Sarah, touchy subject indeed. Nice shots but, to be honest, if you asked me what they were to portray without knowing the intended reason I'm not sure if that would be my first thought - there is an element of confusion/fear etc missing. Saying that, with the correct textual element they could work as are quite striking. A really hard subject that you're very brave to take on.

Certainly an interesting brief Sarah.

In terms of an opinion - The expression on the girls face works really well as does the gritty mono treatment. The first (with the emphasis on the eye) works best I think.

At first I honestly thought it was a dad's unshaven cheek on the left in the first shot. My mistake but in hindsight it might have been another idea...

An unshaven cheek hahah, Interesting, It's actually me, Im not vain but I couldn't find the right person in the short ammount of time I was given, I haven't showed these to the group yet - I was abit nervous incase they were really bad and that would just be embarassing - I always get honest opinion's on here haha!

#1, definitely. given the context, it's actually quite a haunting image - i think you've fulfilled your brief very well, it certainly does convey loneliness, isolation.

reminds me of those old nspcc ads in the 1990s. good work.

Thank you Mark! :) I think Im happy to hand them in now :) I was expecting to get a lot of criticism! Pleasant outcome i'd say! :)
