Chester Zoo - big expansion

Saw this in the daily post this morning. Should be interesting!
 
Looks awesome, and Chester Zoo is pretty good as it is.

It will be awesome when its finished.

I've bought yearly tickets for Chester Zoo for the last two years and will continue to do so - worth every penny.

Our social club at work buys tickets in bulk and subsidises them, so I can get them fairly cheap. I'm going in a couple of weeks, 3rd time in about 18 months.

No I work for Cheshire Police. We can get them for about £9 at the moment, but that may be going up in the future, and it's more expensive in the summer.

Chester is the bees knees. I vist at least once a month. If I lived closer I'd go weekly.

Join as a member and if you only go once a month like me it works out at less than £5.50 a ticket.

Looks like it will be staged but Inevitably one of the first things they are gonna build is a hotel - I just hope it doesn't end up the Zoo equivalent of Alton towers.
 
Fantastic! 2018 though - I dunno if I'll still be able lift a camera by then. :D

Got to agree with this. It is hard enough getting round the place with a four year old in a day but if you add another massive amount of acreage then I have no chance of managing it in a day. It will only get worse.
