Do you seriously think that ANYONE here is going to condone software piracy?

Don't be such a prat and delete this post before the mods do.

Sorry, but seriously, come on?

ah yeh didnt think about it getting pulled! :bonk:

i think i deserve a :nono: for that

i cant even afford to run my car let alone buy a new program so i think i'll be having to wait a while for this

Sorry marcusp13,
Your asking the wrong bunch here mate.
No one will condone that kind of action in a public forum.
I would do as moos3h says and delete this post.

mods beat me to it

There is plenty of software that will do what you need though, if you can't afford CS3 (and neither can I, if it helps) then check out the GIMP, Picasa or even a cheapo version of Paint Shop Pro.

Cheers,
James

cheers james, i did have picasa but wasnt too fond of it, i'll check out GIMP and PSP

Gimp is a cracking bit of kit.
I used it for a while I saved for CS3

just downloading it now :D
gonna uninstall cs3 as i only have a couple of days left on trial and it's a lot of space i could be using

There's also a 'mod' for it called GIMPshop which changes the interface a touch to make it more closely resemble Photoshop. It's not perfect, but it's brilliant for free!

just downloaded it but unfortunately i'm off to college now so it'll have to wait until later if it wants playing with :(

and i might well look into that!

serif photoplus, get older versions dirt cheap direct from serif, they will meet your needs.

GimPhoto makes a better job of CSing The Gimp... and its companion, GimPad puts The Gimp into one box...

B.

came back early from college so im gonna have a play with it.
what's a good RAW processing program too? as i atcually took some RAW images this morning and havent really ever used RAW before

>>what's a good RAW processing program too?

The one that came with your camera? or a Gimp Plugin called UFRaw

i didnt realise photoshop cs3 had raw processing on it haha :bonk:
but i'm sorted now with a full version so i'm all good :)

thanks for the help everyone

I use this, takes a bit of setting up though

I've been in the neighbourhood of lumping on which of the student packs to go for as of late, either the pack which has all the motion video stuff I want.. but not Illustrator ()

Or the design pack which has all the image proccessing stuff that I want (but not After Effects,)

Or the total pack which has everything (apart from light room! :bang:)
