Check your bank accounts - I suspect a scam via O2 going on

Hi,

just a heads up as both a workmate and my dad have been hit with a £30 payment to O2 from their bank accounts, one with Lloyds TSB and the other with RBS. Ok it could just be a mix up on O2's part but no news from them yet. My mates bank gave an immediate refund and new card on it's way so they know something is up as it normally takes a bit of form filling to sort things out and his wife works in credit card fraud and even she said it was handled too easily for them not to know something.

It might be an idea to give your account a quick check :thumbs:

They took £200 from me in February, they couldnt explain why and refunded it - scammers! If they didnt have an iPhone monopoly id be well gone.

Yeah, grim, however these were both payments for a PAYG account which my dad has but not my mate so it might be someone who is at it rather than O2 themselves.
