Cheapo Banggood Bag?

…any error is this purchase would have only a 35$
consequence… try it!

Exactly what I thought. I'll do a review when it comes. Got loads of good stuff on there, getting some lens bags, nikon remote (£1) and other bits.

I've bought three things from Banggood and been pleased with all.
They have a UK warehouse so a lot of things arrive in a week or so.

What? there are camera accessories for under £100, can't be any good ;)

Well, it'll either be a dogs dinner or the greatest thing since sliced bread, a few outings in the field and street should soon give the answer.
Can't go wrong for the price imo.

Maybe best to put a couple of bricks in it, or carry the shopping in it for a while to test it out. Better losing a box of cornflakes than camera gear.

Aye, as Carl intimates, the weakest link will be in the stitching really

From the description of one of the other bags: "All-round, more attentive, caring to protect your love camera!".

I've had a Chinese canvas camera bag for two years now and my camera has not hit the deck yet as all the stitching is still same as the day I bought it.
I would have no worries about buying another cheep Chinese camera bag as I know the vast majority of camera bag are made in China even the ones with well known brand names.

Some of the bags Bangood advertise are available on eBay for much less (eg £25 down to £17) - identical photos and wording in descriptions and allegedly available from UK.

Yeah doubt they're in the UK though
Maybe not but they quote a couple of days delivery time which usually I've found to be a good indication. The China based sellers usually quote a month or so. Have to say I've had very good results from small cheapish items direct from China, just can take a very long time.

All the bags the same as I've the from Amazon are from Hong Kong. Even though they state UK shipping and fast delivery. It's all a con. Click this link:

Now click the seller name 'directstyle'. Hong Kong. Makes returns a PITA. Not worth saving a few quid IMHO.
So true, but Bangood is also China based - "Banggood’s heart is in Guangzhou it is where all the Banggood magic happens".

Looks like a copy of a Kata bag without the yellow liner & inserts

I recall some time ago I had a cheapo bag which was a copy of a lowepro mini trekker.

Lucky for me when the shoulder strap stitching at the top of the bag gave way I was still holding the strap itself so the bag only swung into the back of my leg (with amusing results) rather than hitting the ground. So my gear survived, I ended up bruised and I have also never purchased a knock off bag since.

Well bag arrived today. Glad I got it from Amazon, as it's going straight back LOL. Quality is ok..ish. However the bottom compartment isn't even big enough for my gripped D7200 with a 35mm f1.8 on it!.

Time to look for a secondhand good bag then.

Update, bagged (pardon the pun) a Lowepro Slingshot 302 from eBay auction. Used obviously but a good wash and it'll be fine I'm sure. £27 delivered.
