What is the Cheapest used Canon dslr with hd video function?
 
What do you want to shoot? Do you have any lenses? Where will your video be output to? What is your budget when saying cheap?
 
Canon 1100D does HD video and is the cheapest.
 
Probably the 500D, I think everything after that has Video.
 
I have canon STM lenses

I have a canon 50d and a 40d as backup

If there was I body I could get reasonably enough second hand

I was thinking of trading the 40d for one that I can shoot video with

as I'd like to get shooting some videos for myself

But as long as it's a canon it's still a backup body should the need arise

But I don't want to put any money into it , only what I can get for my 40d and bits so probably £150 or less

Try to get a 550D, nice camera, Park have a selection of used ones around the £200.00 mark.
 
As I said , my main camera is a 50d

Just after a second camera as backup but one that does video too

That's pretty good if they honour it.

I'll consider it but due to bad dealings with them in the past I'm a bit dubious of going there so to speak

I've been in and they've valued my items as C grade , paid me pennies for them then sold them as A grade.

And I also bought a phone that turned out to be stolen and got blocked , took it back and swapped it for another that turned out faulty.... They sent it for repairs , came back and still faulty .

They refused to send it off again , saying I was using it wrong and it wasn't faulty , so I said right fine I'll sell it back to you then , they gave me D grade price as it was faulty [emoji19]

Thanks for your experiences on using CEX. I had been looking at camera kit on there recently but may think twice or try and find the item in store to test before purchase.
