Hello all,

I'm after a fairly high capacity USB power bank to add to the battery life of one of my Ham Radio VHF/UHF radios , can anyone offer any recommendations for one at the cheaper end of the market ?

Many thanks all

I bought this for my son at Christmas and it seems very good so far. I like the digital display and whilst perhaps not relevant for you, it charges at very high speed.

Thanks to both of you for the replies

Yes Anker are good and would be my choice, but whatever you choose try to stay with known brands, there's so much chinesium out there making outrageous claims about capacity.

i bought a couple of these Mitec 20,000 mah power bricks and there not bad for the price
the real capacity tested is around 12,000 mah drawing around 1 amp for 12 hours which is quite respectable for 20 quid

might be worth considering

Had an Anker 20,000mAh but it arrived DOA and wouldn't take a charge so I went for an INUI one of the same capacity. Works very well using either the USB A or C outputs and charges fast using a suitable USB C charger. Slower charging with a "normal" charger through the USB micro input. Torch built in too.
