Hey folks,
I've all of a sudden developed an interest to give flash photography a go, and found that, unsurprisingly, the onboard flash on the Canon Pro 1 is somewhat lacking.
After playing about with a mirror and DIY diffuser, and getting some half decent results, albeit limited to wide apertures, short working range and worryingly high ISOs (anything over 100 is too noisy for my liking), I've started to realise that flash photography isn't so bad after all.
I saw a nice Metz flash that has sold in the classifieds for a mere £35, and suspect that something similar would be ideal. I really want something that is fully auto and can be bounced aswell, but have no real clue as to what to look at. I imagine Metz, Sigma, Jessops and the like will all offer something decent, that is if I can pick one up cheaply enough at about £40.
Any suggestions?
