Some friends and I are looking to produce a calendar that is to be sold - mostly via another forum - to raise money for our favourite charity.

We have a lot of keen photogs on the site and would like to do this whereby we design the calendar and then direct people to the printers website, where they can buy the calendar and any profit from the sales will be directed to the charity.

Does anyone know if this would be possible please, and if so which printers?

Thank you

PS the charity in question is for another forum members daughter who is suffering from a very fierce brain tumor :'(

Thanks, but was actually hoping that the "clients" could actually order direct from the site, so that we don't have a minimum order run

Only sort of thing I can think of for that would be photobox or something along the same lines, but it does work out expensive just to buy one.
I did a charity calendar for 2010 and we ordered 500 & sold them, but we were lucky and managed to get every page sponsored to cover the printing for that run and then the second print of 500 was taken from the sales, we managed to raise about £4000.00 for charity. But the mail order side was quite time consuming.

Don't know if its any use to you but I did a calender for my lads football team last year, used "smilebox" to design it myself, saved it and then took it to a local printers. Cost of paper/printing and binding came to about £7 each calendar. We raised around £90 for the team

Thanks Graeme - I think that's the way we are going to have to do it, to keep costs down

Hi Sonriendo, I guess I am a bit late on this case, but it might help you for the next years calendar :-) Try Print24! They offer a huge range of products and they might be able to help you out here as well.
