Does anybody have any experience of changing the springs to balance the head. I have a G1380 head which was originally used by the previous owner with a canon system including a 600mm lens and suspect it was balanced for that. Would like to use it with a much lighter GH4 and associated recorder but whilst the pan works perfectly if the tilt is moved below horizontal then it slowly moves back towards horizontal unless either it is held steady with the handle or the lock is employed. Any assistance gratefully received.
