Changing Creator Name in Metadata

Hi guys,

I have finally got my arse into gear and started sorting and organising my photos within Lightroom, and have realised that all of the pictures taken with my 400D, which was bought second hand off this forum, have the old owner's name embedded within the metadata as the Author of the picture...

I havent noticed this before, as I have only recently started using Adobe Lightroom, any ideas as how I can change this? I am guessing it is an in-camera setting somewhere?

I wasnt entirely sure where to put this question, so let me know if its in the wrong place!

You can change it for you existing images within Lightroom (I'd change one, then use the sync metadata to copy it to the rest). For future images you have two options:
1- If you are only going to use Lightroom to import photos set up an import preset, this will overwrite what is set in the camera.
2- Use the Canon software (downloadable if you don't have the disk) to change it on your camera...

Yes you are right. Once its done in there it will be right in all your future photos.
