Anyone offer any advice? It's a Flymo Easimo. I bought the blade yesterday, and the box says see the Flymo website for instructions, but I can't find any. Is it just a case of unbolting the old one and bolting the new one on?

Err........yes. Remember to unplug it first though ;)

Changed many a blade on various mowers, can't imagine it being anything other than the bolt/bolts securing the blade on yours.

Probably yes but the bolt is almost certain to be left hand thread if it screws up through the blade. You'll need something to wedge the blade like a big screwdriver to stop it turning while you loosen the bolt and if possible a long handled socket wrench as the bolt is likely to be tight.

Never came across a left handed securing bolt, no reason for the blade to be rotating in any specific direction on a simple garden mower, different with a strimmer though.

Why am I getting the feeling that Chris' next post will be "Anyone know anything about reattaching fingers?"

Know someone who lost a thumb with a chainsaw he bought at B&Q, extremely dangerous tools in the wrong hands.

I got the blade done this morning. There was an opening for you to jam a screwdriver in (or a 6" nail as I did) to lock the motor. Came off dead easy then. Then it clouded over and I had a laziness attack, so the lawn still hasn't been mowed.
