Chang the adaptor to Bowens?

Hi, I have a softbox that uses the speed ring in the images below but I need to change the adaptor
to fit Bowens, as can be seen (I Hope) there are 4 screws holding the adator to the plate so anyone help please?

That's a very old design, and is the basis for most of the current designs from the same factory (which I know) so it's possible.

If you let us know the exact diameter of the so-called universal mount bit (the part with the screws) I'll check.

Hi, Once taken apart the the actual ring for holding the softbox is 14cm from inside edge to edge, outside is 19cm edge to edge the ring to clamp onto the strobe head is 14cm 3mm outside and 11cm 5mm inside.
I am actually thinking for what a Bowens adapter may cost I may as well buy a complete unit from good old Ebay.
