Hi, I only have 2 x CFexpress Cards Type B, one is 128GB other 64GB, both Lexar gold, going to Island Mull next year for 4 days, Eagles, Otters and a lot more I hope. Not sure if total 192GB will be enough, I only take stills no video.
In anticipation of having to buy another card I am looking at Manfrotto 128GB £59.90, Integral 128GB £61 or the Lexar silver 128GB £64.99. Lexar Gold 128GB £96, bought my last Lexar Gold from Amazon at that £96 price and it ships via Amazon global sales, big difference between that £96 and the Manfrotto at £59.90.
Looking for any who may have had experience with the Manfrotto or Integral cards or indeed the Lexar Silver rather than Gold?
Again only stills no video.
Thank you.
Russ.

What camera are you using? I have found out that some cameras, including my Fuji X-H2S, can be a bit picky about the CF Express cards - I have recently bought a new one and went for a Delkin Black series card, to replace the 64GB SanDisk card I have been using up until now.

I have previously though that because I only shoot stills I could get away with a slower card, but it turns out that burst shooting also works the cards hard.

Personally I wouldn't buy cards from Amazon, irrespective of who they are sold by, as cards can get mixed up in their warehouse, I usually use WEX for memory cards.

I am using the Sabrent cards on the Nikon Z6ii and Z8, zero issues, no experience of any mix ups, all factory sealed and boxed.

Hi, Nikon Z8. Thank you for the reply

Do Nikon run an approved card list?

I have the 256Gb version of the Lexar silver card and it works just fine and costs juts £82 from Amazon. I've also got a Sabrent 512Gb, a Lexar gold 64Gb, a Prograde cobalt 165Gb and a Sony Tough 128Gb. All work perfectly and download quickly - as fast as the USB-C port on my laptop will allow. Any speed differences between them are essentially negligible. I've not had any issues with file corruption and I've used them all for a mix of both stills and video.
