CD and DVD

I've got a mini photography business starting up this week where I give people photos on disc for cash.

Now I'm guessing that when I get a CD/DVD can I just put it in my laptop and drag and drop like a memory stick or external hard drive?

I'm using recordable as well as they will need to rip the images from disc but just wondered if anyone could clarify the above question.

Drag & drop onto CD yes
Drag & drop onto DVD - yes if using Windows 7 - otherwise software required.

The discs don't need to be re-writable for people to get the pictures off them, they'll just cost you more.
You'll probably want to 'finalise' the discs once you've burnt them in order to make them cross-platform compatible etc.
