Has anyone been watching this? so far I cannot find anyone who is... just wonder if anyone is watching it - I can say we are not...

Used to be a Celebraty Big Yawn, I mean Celebrity Big Brother

Oh right, i'd sooner stick pins in my eyes than watch that crap, Vinnie Jones went to the US to build a Hollywood career, looks like that went well then

I thought that was where they showed 'in the night garden'.

I've not seen any big brother since Jack Dee's escape attempts but it was quite telly tubbyish looking back.

On and off really, I'm usually downstairs on my laptop when the rest of my family are watching it.

I guess it beets all the celeb dancing on all the channels and that jungle thing

I usually cant be bothered with any reality TV programmes however my bro insisted I watched this years CBB. It is very entertaining, it doesnt seem to the usual desperate losers, these are actually quite real people. Although Stephen Baldwin is definitely on the edge, he is hilarious and Vinnie Jones is certainly carrying himself well.

Vinnie's apparently in too look after Gascoigne if he goes in isn't he? I know a new person is going in on Monday, might be Gazza.

I've watched some of it as Wifey likes it and it appears to be the best there has been for awhile.

Stephen Baldwin and Vinnie Jones are quite amusing, others quite forgettable.

I have never watched any BB or CBB, the concept just makes me cringe I'm afraid. I watch the highlights of I'm a celebrity just to see the has beens munching on bugs, sphincters and kangaroo dangly bits etc.
Other than that, "reality" TV holds no appeal for me.

So you're doubting a program you've never watched? Don't knock it till you try it.

Furry muff, but I don't need to eat dog eggs to know it's not something I would want to do.

There's a difference to doing something nobody does, and watching something everyone does.

It's like the people who say they don't like certain foods without even trying it.

So there's a programme where they lock past it celebs in a house?

How very interesting.

I could be a bit pedantic and argue the toss over "everyone" watching it, but won't.
My point is I choose not to watch certain things on TV. I commented on the thread about Jonafun Woss leaving the Beeb, and one reply was along the lines of 'don't watch it if that's how you feel.'
I do just that. My missus and kids choose to watch Wossy, I don't. I also choose not to watch BB/CBB or any of the dancing shows. The OP asked

which I answered.

You never said you don't choose not to watch it and leave at that, but that it makes you "cringe". Which I don't get how it could really without first hand experience. I cringe when someone scratches clothing, but I know I don't like that from first hand experience. I never assume stuff, as that can make you miss out on some important stuff.

What I actually said was the concept makes me cringe.
I see it being a form of voyeurism, the idea of which makes me feel uncomfortable. The participants obviously do not feel this discomfort, or any embarrassment that complete strangers are watching them sleeping etc. Sorry, but I just don't see that as normal behaviour. If not wanting to watch some washed up (so called) celeb scratch their nuts makes me strange then so be it. I'm happy with that.
What I don't understand is why you seem to have such an issue with my viewing habits. I answered the OP's question, and said why I made the choice I made. No amount of cyber-bullying will make me change my opinion, which is what it is incidentally - just an opinion. Other replies have been far more scathing than mine, yet you seem happy to accept this for some reason.
