I know - it's sad, but I've just been looking at magazine covers, observing catchlights.

Quite a few models have a catchlight at top and bottom of their eyes.

What's the setup for this? Pros n cons?

Sorry for short post - on IPhone.

One light high, one light low - known as clamshell lighting.

Advantages - defines the shape of the face quite well but still produces fairly soft lighting (if that's what you want).

Disadvantages - creates an extra catchlight that personally I feel looks odd. Easily avoided simply by only using the high light and replacing the low light with a reflector.
