Need to claim my cashback for a lens purchased from our friend Kerso but am unsure about the barcodes.

The Canon site says to cut out the barcodes but I know some here have peeled the stickers off and just sent those.

The box has three barcodes but only one of them is a sticker, the others are printed on the box itself. Obviously the sticker is the serial number but should I just peel this off and send it alone or cut out all the barcodes from the box? Don't really want to damage the box but then I don't want Canon to refuse my claim due to failure to send all the barcodes.

I Peeled the sticker off and stuck it on the claim form, and got the confirmation back from canon yesterday that it has been received and is being processed.

And I went straight for the stanley knife:bonk:

How long did Canon take to confirm they'd received your cashback applications? Then how long before you received the cash? I posted mine first class a week ago today, and still haven't heard anything? Thanks.

Can take a few weeks. My first two were about 2-3 weeks the next was over a month.

Damn, I got the Stanley knife out for mine this morning :bang:

Ah well, I peeled it off the box bit, and Im gonna wedge the box bit back in :p

My first one took 3 months :S:thinking::thinking:

I've just send the one off for my 40D off on monday.

So lets see how long this takes.

Went to the post office before and said "I'd like to send this envelope please"

She said "Is Tipperary in Southern Ireland?"

Me : "Errrrrr.....*shrug* I think so"

I'm so geographically challenged.

So yes, incase anyone is wondering, it has to go via Air Mail.

It does? I just stuck a few stamps on it and shoved it in the postbox...lol

when i took it into the post office, they just stuck a first class stamp on it.

That was tuesday, how long did you guys have to wait to get the confirmation email?

Its supposed to be 48 hours isnt it (Of them receiving it)
