It'll have a bar code on it. Just remove that and stick next to the selected product on the form you would have completed and printed off...
 
i haven't printed anything from the web just filled out the leaflet the shop gave me

Ah ok, sorry if I've confused you in any way...all you need to do is stick the barcode onto the leaflet, if it's the claim form..

Some people cut out the code from the box, but most prefer just to peel the sticker off...

lol did get me a bit confuzzled.

i just peeled it off and stuck it the the front of the leaflet

Am I missing something ? I've just filled in my 450D cash back form and I can't find any mention of needing to send in the bar code

I did send in the bar code with all my other Canon cash back deals but it seems it's not required with this deal.

Well if you have the till receipt showing you purchased the camera then surely you shouldnt really need to send them the barcode?

I know I have done so in the past but wondered why, maybe it is something to do with marketing. But for cashback purposes the receipt should suffice.

I was told that the bar code was required previously to prevent cash back claims on grey imports purely because the old
scheme wasn't set up to use serial numbers to track non UK kit. The 450D cash back claim form now asks
for the serial number which I guess will be used to track non UK sourced kit instead of the bar code.
