Bit random but does anyone know what the flowers are called that look like the cartoon ones? I need to get some today but forgot what they are
 
ahhh good, i thought that was them but just wanted to make sure, need to get them for my gf there her favorites, hopefully if there the right ones.
 
Have you tried Googling Gerbera to see if thats the ones?

Tbh though, I dont think it would matter if they werent, I think most peeps just enjoy receiving flowers ... Id be grateful for a bunch of Dandelions these days! ;)
 
i did google them and i think they look right and the name does sound familar.
Normally i get her tulips or sunflowers which she likes.
how much would a nice bunch of gerbera's be? just so i dont get fleased at the shop.

Its been a while since Ive bought flowers but for a decent bunch expect to pay around a tenner.
Always worth checking out the local Tesco/Asda too, theyre usually very reasonably priced there.

EDIT: yup ... Im more than happy to share ;)
 
depends where you get them from...supermarkets do them really resonable priced these days. I love Gerberas and Lisianthus in the same bunch, you can get both of these in the supermarket ;)
 
oh thats good then so i dont have to go to the propper flowershop, usually costs me about £30 when i go in there
Edit: how is Lisianthus pronounced?
