Carp anglers

How many carp anglers are on the forum? Just interested to know what people use to take pics of carp?

I find it frustrating having loads of camera kit, and then when I catch one, someone will take a picture for me in auto because they don't know how to use it!! Yet when I take a photo for someone else, I can generally get a better picture than auto!

I rarely fish for carp, but I do take photos of what I catch if it's worth it. for handing to idiots I've got good results from a Nikon Coolpix A. Usually I use a compact with a flip out screen and a bulb release and adaptor. Sometimes I use a DSLR and bulb release although I do have a custom setting for my DSLR for handing it to someone if I don't want to bother using my tripod set up - shutter priority set to 1/250 to avoid camera shake, auto ISO, auto focus point (should pick the fish as it's closest to the camera).
