Carl Zeiss for canon !

Well this is from my 135mm f3.5 Carl Zeiss Jena MC DDR using an M42 to EOS mount, with manual focus and aperture.

Quite satisified considering it only cost about £25. Takes some getting use to manual though.

There were two Carl Ziess'es, after the 2nd world war the company got split up by the east/west Germany divide. CZ Jena was the East german side afaik, made good quality solid lenses, not as good as the west German side but that's reflected in the price. I had 35-135 for my old Pentax ME Super and loved it.
 
you can use them in Av mode. I have some manual Nikon lenses I us in that way.
