I'm going to Cardiff in a couple of weeks with some mates to watch the rugby and was wondering if anyone had any tips for where to get a decent pint after the game or perhaps where to avoid? Maybe a bar in the evening?

Any advice would be great as none of us know Cardiff at all.

there's so many ... all in walking distance from stadium....when we go for the rugby ,we go on a walkabout, some bars will have entertainment a offers on...enjoy, its a very nice city
and plenty of places to eat...there are a few locals on these forums, that would probable give you more choice...mark

What type of bar are you looking for?

For something a bit less rowdy, I prefer to head into the Bay rather than staying in the city centre - still within reasonable walking distance, or only a few £s in a taxi.
