Card reader reccomendation for 40D

Hi What Card reader would you guys reccommend for with the 40D for downloading Raws to my laptop ?

I've got a sandisk image mate usb 2.0 reader which works great with the 350D but when I down load 40D files it just dumps all of the files into the same directory each time, it calls the directory Canon 100. I have to set up a new directory each time.
With the 350D it makes a new folder each time I download from the memory card.
I have checked the Sandisk site they dont seem to do updated drivers

I bought the cheapest one from PC world and it seems to be fine though only supports CF cards. My PC is pretty slow but it works fine on my wife's laptop as well. I always shoot RAW+Jpeg on 2GB cards. It just recognises it as a new drive so I normally just drag and drop or use the Canon software to tell it where to dump the files. I got it wrong the other week and then wondered why I only had 6% free on my HDD.

I'm waiting for my CF Adapter to arrive (uses Express Slot at side of laptop). Should be pretty quick as it's PCI-E rather than USB 2 but will let you know once I get it if you are interested in this type? I'm also hoping it'll be neater than an external reader.

I think you may find it's simply copying the folder on the card. If your 40D is anything like my 5D then the folder no doesn't change until the file count exceeds 9999.

You'll have to make a new destination folder on your computer named appropriately and copy the images into it from the card

Thanks guys it looks like I have to make a new destination folder up each time. I was being lazy
When I upload from the 350D it makes a new folder each time and numbers them in sequence
