card reader/computer probs

Everytime i put my card reader in my PC and open the pictures, I can view them on the reader but when i try to transfer them on to PC i get an error message saying the following....

Cannot copy file:Cannot read from the source file or disk.

Whats going on ???

Just windows ! I use CS5 and Lightroom but normally just save them into a folder then open them up from there but they won't transfer, just keep getting that stupid message

That's what I thought but have used another one and it still comes up with the same message, can't find my camera lead to try from camera

My guess would be dud card reader or dud usb connection. Try a different cable and a different usb socket before you buy a new reader.

Does the pc recognise the card reader. If not try and find a new driver and install that. It could well solve the problem.
