Car shoot advice needed please

After advice on the best way to light and shoot my friends car, He's got a white Mitsubishi Evo which is his pride and joy and is about to show it. He has asked me if I could do a mag like shoot. I've got remote triggers and two speedlites to light it with some stands/ umbrella's. Ive not done this before so I'm after tips on composition & location too

Have a look further down this forum, there's plenty of advice in similar threads, also there's the "Transport" sharing forum that should give you some ideas.

Personally with a light car I would go for a dark/bold background, I find the best way to scour locations is just to drive around.

there was a thread about a week ago where someone did this he showed the way he was set up one speedlite either end of the car prob about 10 15 foot away from what i can remember and get down to floor level for a few shots ill try and find it for you
