Looking for some tips on organising RAW files in C1.

I use a couple of different camera brands and would like to keep files separate in C1 for editing each brand I use.

Any tips on the best way of doing this?

Hi

Not sure if you have to have a separate catalogue for each brand. You would then have to ensure you have the correct catalog open when you import the file.

I have also recently move to C1 so am on a learning curve so will what the tread.

In sessions (I'd have to check if you can do this in Catalogues, as generally I don't use them) you can create a Smart Album in Session Albums and set the Camera Make to contain the brand that you are using.

What Pound Coin said. It should work fine in catalogues as catalogues and sessions use the same search tools.

Thanks Chaps, appreciate the info.

I've created an album in user collections for each camera brand which I can select when I import images and that automatically pops them in there.
