Capture One Pro 7 Exporting JPEG file size problem.

I am working through the trial of changing software from Aperture to Capture One Pro 7. Exporting small file sizes is what I am struggling with most.

I want a 1000px long size JPEG and am getting 450-500kb file sizes rather than 150kb which I got with other programmes. It has me beaten.

What am I doing wrong? It is bugging the hell out of me!

The settings look correct for what you want. What pixel size are the originals?

jpg normally has an options tab somewhere where you can apply compression. I suspect that tab "adjustments" will allow more settings.

is 23k on disk but 1mb uncompressed.
