After some great editing by Marcel I'm thinking of turning one of my pics into two Canvases. Anyone had a canvas printed from a pic? I've been looking on the web but it is hard to judge quality. Thanks in advance!

I had a portrait of a little boy printed big on canvas by Colab.

it wasnt the bog-standard printing onto canvas...they stretched it around a wooden frame so it was like an oil painting. Very good quality and the client was very pleased. :thumbs:
 
Someone did post up a link to what looked a good site with resonable prices, give me a minute and I'll try and find it!

Hi All

Just got them in today, packed really well and absolutely no damage...

What can I say,strewth!!!

Bargains to be had, come mounted on 1.5inch deep wood, the mount is really well constructed.

The image that has been printed is perfect, whites are a white, and no difference from my original photo..

The largest one which is 24 x 36 is just spectacular, and the small ones are perfect in every way..

Highly recommend this guy, he knows what he is doing.....

I used mycanvasprints once too. Was pre christmas so order progress was a bit slow. Delivery was exactly as promised and the quality was good. Price was good too. I'd buy from them again.

John seemed pleased with his christmas present of one of his HDRs on canvas :)
 
wow thanks! His prices are great and the quality is their too. I also like the idea of spending my money on a small business so the suits don't get it all!
 
I print on to canvas, what size are you after?

All my prints come framed and ready to hang and are printed on 414gsm canvas so very good quality. The frame is approx 3/4 - 1 inch deep or 1.5 - 2 inch deep.

Not sure if i would be able to beat the prices on their site they seem very cheap. Does anyone know what weight canvas they use
