Just wondering if there are any TV gurus who could help please. I've got a Sony XF9005 and I've lost all my HD channels. I've tried an auto retune and also a reboot of the TV but with no luck.

Ive checked the Freeview website and it shows no issues with the Talconeston transmitter so suggestions for next steps please

Has your Ariel moved out of line ? Or building work using cranes in the area .. .presume your using a Ariel with free view ?

Not specific to your transmitter but there were the losses of one/some HD channels due to them bring given to 5G mobile network aerials. But that I thought was about 6 months or more ago.

I read that it is possible for all HD channels to be affected by the presence of a (new) 5G mast. .. perhaps that is a possibility of the change is very recent???

I don't think so - certainly no cranes !! I can view the non HD channels so assume the aerial is OK

Thanks for the steer I'll check it out

A couple of days ago, we lost all the C5 channels (no great loss, it has to be said!) on FreeSAT but I think they were still available on FreeVIEW. Back on sat now.

Hope you get your HD issue sorted.

Don’t want to teach you to suck eggs, but have you looked for the channels further down the EPG? I had to retune my mum’s Toshiba tv recently and it grouped all the HD channels together but in a totally different place from before.

All suggestions much appreciated but the channels aren't on the EPG or direct entry either. I reckon I'll probably have to speak to an aerial company
