Does anyone know why I can't always see the images posted?

Some of the threads I've looked at have comment posted, but I can not see the image?

I'm currently running firefox on the lappy, on the desktop its OK:shrug:

I was having the same problem with Internet Explorer about a week ago (it was also taking ages to load pages) so i installed Firefox & that appears to work OK. :shrug:

I've had a couple of issues too, once with imageshack and once with Photobucket (I could see the sites being called but no images displayed)

Very strange..

LL Spencer posted on my thread and I've checked my image sizes, they're all between 70 & 130kb, so not that on my thread anyway.

I had to reload a thread (go out of it, then reclick on it) and they appeared then :)
 
i notice this quite a bit, if your talking bout the red cross thing, if you right click on it and show picture it sometimes works, if not, right click properties(at the bottom) then copy and paste the url into the web browser in a new window/tab
 
Yeah - I'm always hearing problems about IE. I moved to Firefox a few months back and it's been fine.
 
This could be a problem for some mobile "broadband" users, especially if they stay connected for quite a while. The reason being the mobile operator will enforce a content control without notice (even if you have disengaged content control). This will almost certainly affect Flickr.

To prove this is the problem the next time you experience it disconnect and reconnect and then reload the page. If the images then show it proves it.
