Can't save as JPEG?

I've been editing a TIFF image but when I go to save as a JPEG the option isn't there. :thinking:

HELP! :D
 
wrong bit rate.... afaik you need to set it to be a 8bit image to be able to save as jpg.... Cant check as i dont have photoshop on this comp.
 
Is it a 16 or 8 bit image?, I know I sometimes forget to convert from 16 to 8 bit and lose the jpg option
 
I was going to post a suggestion... then I thought no there will be a few by the time I type it :)
 
That's it, I've been working in 16 bit for the first time and forgot to change it back. :thumbs:
