Cant post imiiges on here from Flickr

Can anybody help? I cant seem to upload imiges on Talk Photography threads from my Flickr photostream. I have resized to the forum limit of 800 pixles both within Flickr editing & in Photoshop prior to uploading but all I get is a little cross in the left hand side when I preview my post. anything I am doing wrong?

You're doing something wrong - I just don't know what yet. Could you post one here - even if it comes up with the red cross and let me see what you're doing?

You're posting the URL to the all sizes page of one of your photos on your photostream. You want to post the image URL, ie: the one that ends in ".jpg"

Marc, you need to go to All Sizes and copy the bit under "grab the photo's url"

then paste that between the IMG tags.

I deleted this once because i thought it was a more technical problem

as the above posting really.

In flickr go to all sizes choose the image size you require and then right click on the image. Choose copy image location.
When back in TP choose the insert image box and right click on the blue highlighted HTTP: from the menu that appears click paste

Job done
