hello all
i have a collection of jpg,s on a cd but they were put on disc quite some time ago,anyhow now im trying to move them to another cd but i have a problem.
my vista pc wont view them but my win7 laptop will only let me know they are there and it also shows icons as jpg so i know they are there but thats as far as it goes,when i click on the icons it just hangs/freezes and does nothing.
Help??
 
Download Recuva - a free program, and use it to recover the pics from the CD. Make sure that you recover the files to the Hard Drive.
It may not work but Recuva is quite useful anyway as it allows you to recover deleted files.
 
Looks as though the CD isn't being read correctly. It may be a problem with the CD rather than the computers. CD's and DVD's aren't forever and the quality does vary . Sometimes an older slower drive will read problematic CD/DVD
