Run the mac update software, i would guess that your version of camera raw is out of date...!

dont that, im fully up to date, the apple site has just got a raw plug in for the 5d mk2, found this on adobe's site

Yeah, until Apple release the next camera raw update you will need to use the Adobe DNG tool.
