Can't Download Canon R5 To Mac

I've owned the R5 for many months and never had trouble downloading to Mac computer by connecting cable. I didn't make the connection at first but it seems that method quit working after the computer updated to Ventura 13.2.1. Now when I connect the camera via cable the camera screen says "No Picture" and I must remove the card and put it in a card reader. I have updated the camera with the latest firmware. What is the solution please?

If you mean EOS Utility download the version from macOS 12 dropdown.
