I use Photoshop CS3 for editing. I like to work with bridge before opening in
photoshop using camera raw even with jpeg files. my camera is Canon 30D.
just bought the G15 compact but can't open its raw files. What should I do.
 
Don't think CS3 will support the G15 Raw format files. Have you tried to update it?
 
They will open in Lightroom 4 but not in my CS4 or PE10.

So I use LR as not able to afford to get later edition of CS but will take a look at PE12 when it is due out next month.

You could convert to DNG files by downloading the Adobe DNG convertor which is free.
 
Thanks for providing me with with these options. I've never used Lightroom,
might consider it, even PE. I believe the current version of Photoshop CS is the last.Is it going to be some subscription thing or something.
 
Yes subscription & I reckon a couple of months down the line would of paid for a new copy of Lightroom :gag:
