Hope you can help.
I've recently acquired an ST-E2 and currently use it with my single 580EXII. I'm looking to expand upon the number of flashes and am looking at the 430EXII's or equivalent to minimise cost. My first question is.
If I were to place a 580EXII left as group A and a 430EXII right as group B, on the basis that the 430 didnt max out would they both give the same output if the ST-E2 was set as 1:1 ratio? And thus give equally balanced output as I adjust the ratio left and right?
Second question. On the basis that I can use different Canon flash units and still get balanced output, what flash units other than the 430EXII and the 580EXII are compatible with the ST-E2 ensuring that I can continue to utilise the E-TTL function.
Thanking you in advance.
