Wireless is not a problem - put it in salve mode can use a 580ex ii as master.

It seen it does have manual control but via camera (in hot shoe mounted mode)
Would the setting be hold in off cam position?

My interest is in off camera manual output in triple setup

Anyone has had a 270ex ii?

It's another Tesco cock-up, though still a decent buy http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.211-7688.aspx Their website is full of typos and errors - last week they had a Canon 60D outfit underpriced by over £500. It was up for several days, long after they knew of the mistake, and they didn't honour any of the deals.

The gun they're selling is the discontinued 270EX, even though the pics show the MkII. But the only major difference is the MkII has a remote slave mode.

It's a great little gun though. Very small and light and packs more power than you might think - only 2/3rds of a stop less than a 430EX at the same 50mm zoom head setting. Significantly, it's the only gun at this price level that does high speed sync.

Got to be a mistake. 270EXii is very new and most places are around £150 - which makes the Tesco deal on the Mki a good one

seems people are getting theres and receiving the mkII version, tesco rang today and mine should be here tomorrow.
