Hi, i have the canon 600D and it came with the usual red canon shoulder strap, but after dropping my last camera, i have fitted a wrist strap to the canon and i tend to carry the camera in my hand with the wrist strap on, therefore the shoulder strap is a nuisance and i have to wrap it around my wrist and hold it with my little finger, but i would like to keep a shoulder strap for carrying the camera when not being used, so my question is can anyone recommend a quick release shoulder strap that i could use instead?

I've just picked up the black rapid sport which is excellent, however it does rest on teh right hand side of my body which means the OS switch on my 50-500 OS can get shifted form time to time.

I've also a Q strap - which is very good if you're on a budget.

Hi

I use an OpTech shoulder strap which is comfortable (and quick release), You can get a TP branded one as well if you fancy...

I use a Canon wrist strap and Black Rapid RS-7 strap when walking with my camera. I don't find the Black Rapid gets in the way when taking photos, so leave it connected, but it's fairly quick to unscrew its tripod screw from the camera if you want to remove it before taking a photo

Black rapid rs7 is what I use. Plus it has a quick release clip and its very easy to use and comfortable.

I use a Canon handstrap and a .......................... TP branded Optech, cos they're incredibly marvellous with their quick release and all ;)

Another user of the OpTech here. Really comfortable even after extended use, much more so than the original Canon one.

Another vote for the Black Rapid from me. Really pleased with mine after buying a few other straps before this one. It is expensive compared with other straps but I think it is worth it.
